SRT ShiftVTT to SRT converter
Convert WebVTT (.vtt) subtitles to SubRip (.srt) for VLC, Plex, TVs and video editors.
Drop an .srt or .vtt file here
Your file never leaves your device. Everything runs in your browser.
Play the video, note when the first and last lines are actually spoken, and type those times (hh:mm:ss,ms).
(useful when only the second half is off)
Good to know
VTT positioning settings and styling blocks have no SRT equivalent, so they're dropped. The text and timings are kept exactly.
